Pea and Ham Soup

A classic hearty soup

Ingredients
2 white onions, diced
300g frozen peas
3 bay leaves
250g cooked ham/gammon (leave whole)
300ml chicken or veg stock
Directions
Serves 2
Add the onions, stock, bay leaves and gammon to the slow cooker, season well
Cook on high for 2 hours or low for 4 hours
Remove the gammon and set aside. Add the peas to the slow cooker and cook for a further 45 mins on high.
Remove the bay leaves and blend the soup. I used a hand blender.
Shred the gammon
Serve the soup and scatter over the gammon
